Terms of Service for CoPals

CoPals is a scheduling and communication tool. It does not provide legal advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional legal counsel regarding custody arrangements.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoPals mobile application ("the App") developed and operated by a single individual based in the United Kingdom ("I", "me", "Developer").

By downloading, installing, or using CoPals, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CoPals for your personal co-parenting needs.

CoPals is a paid application with a one-time purchase fee. No subscription or recurring payments are required.

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform where you purchased the App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). I do not control these refund policies.

The purchase grants you ongoing access to the App and its features, subject to these Terms.

3. User Content and Responsibilities

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (schedules, notes, journal entries). However, you grant me a limited license to store and process this content to provide the App's services.

If you have concerns about CoPals, please contact me at hello@copals.app first. I'm committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and resolved in UK courts.

10. Third-Party Services

CoPals uses Google Firebase for data storage and authentication. Your use of these services is also subject to Google's terms and policies.

I am not responsible for third-party services or any changes to their terms or availability.

11. Intellectual Property

CoPals, including its design, code, and trademarks, is my intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App itself.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and me regarding CoPals.
